Neither Holmes-Page.com, nor the people that maintain it, including Nick J. Steglich are responsible for content posted on this site. All material submitted by any member must fall within the usage guidelines listed below. Holmes-Page.com reserves the right to edit or remove any record for any reason we see fit, where upon the offender shall be notified via email. Repeat offenses will result in immediate and permanent removal from the site.

Any and all material submitted my members of this site is done so of their own free will and will be posted for public and private viewing unless otherwise specified. Removal from this site and all records is available by completing and submitting the Removal Form. If you choose to return and sign up for another account in the future, you may do so at no penalty to you. However, you will be required to provide your information again for our records, as well as fill out any personal information for use with your profile page.

Usage Guidlines:

1. Content - There shall be no illegal content posted to this site. Any direct reference to drug use, pornography, or the slandering of others will be regarded as a violation of this term and the material in question will either be deleted and the member responsible contacted, or will constitute termination of the user's account where upon the member responsible will be contacted via email and removed within 24 hours unless other arrangements are made.
2. Security - This site is not protected by any kind of secure encryption, and therefore and usernames and passwords that you might choose have the potential of being seen by others. While this should not be the case, we urge you to choose your private information carefully and not use anything that is strictly confidential such as bank account usernames and passwords. If you suspect that someone has tampered with your information or your account in some way, please notify us immediately to report the suspected offense.
3. Privacy - Holmes-Page.com and the people that maintain it hold your personal information as confidential and shall not be used for marketing or advertising, nor will it be sold to any person, company or organization for email marketing (Spam) or any other solicitation. If you choose to submit information on a need-to-know basis only, or for correspondence purposes without being publicly listed on Holmes-Page.com, please specify as such in any form you may submit, or by sending an email to us with your name and request details. All requests will be processed within 48 hours of receiving the notification.
4. Members - Any and all members of Holmes-Page.com agree to the guidelines listed above, as well as to not hold Holmes-Page.com, it's members, nor anybody responsible for the maintainence or other upkeep of Holmes-Page.com or any file related to the site. All requests will be processed in a timely manner. Any complaints regarding service or our policies should be outlined in an email sent to us through our contact form.

Okay, that was the technical version... here's the lamens version.

Look... This is a site that I am putting up for the sole purpose of connecting people in an attept at unifying and completing a vast circle of friends that I am part of. This is not an attempt at making any kind of directory where just anybody can come and make their own site and such. I am offering as much functionality as I can given the limited time and money that I have. If any of this seems sketchy to you, then don't participate. I have spent a significant amount of time in recent days trying to track down long lost loved ones and friends from long ago. And while I have been relatively successful, my job is far from over. I figure that just about everybody has someone that they want to reconnect with, and I would like to offer this site as a means to do so. I strive to provide an adequate enough means to do this, but because this is not a business and consequently is not providing a steady income, I can only do so much. I welcome any help that I can get in maintaining this site, but again, I can't claim that anything is going to work perfectly and consistently. There will be glitches and problems that I wont be able to fix immediately, and I can only hope that you all will be patient with me and anyone else who cares to help. I will maintain this site as well as I possibly can, and as that it is a personal project, not to mention something I have wanted to do for a long time, I will continue to do so until the time arises that I can't anymore. Hopefully, with your support, that point won't ever come. If there is one thing that I have learned in my days on this planet, its that keeping in touch with your friends is the single most important thing you can do to ensure your happiness in the future. I hope that you all concur with me and will understand if it isn't all its cracked up to be right away. The only way that this site will become what I envisioned will be with your support and understanding.

In light of all of that, I do want to stress the fact that I want to keep the content of this site as PC and user-friendly as possible. I dont want people to get scared away from joining up due to unfavorable content, nor do I want any organization coming after me for something that is listed here. I trust that you, the members, wont sue me for the shortcomings and content in general of this site, but others might try, and I would very much like to keep that to a minimum. :) You are all adults, and I would expect that you know the difference between whats right and wrong. Please act accordingly.
